Fundraising Goal

Our ultimate goal is to fundraise $10 million by recruiting 84,000 members within a timeframe of three years, commencing April 2012 and ending May 2015.  CKBM is seeking a one-time donation of $100 from each of the 84,000 members to fund the construction of Vatt Khmer Lowell and Khmer American Cultural Center Project.  In recognition of the donation, CKBM will offer a statue of Buddha to each donor with his/her name engraved on the base of the statue.  All of [...]

The design of the Khmer American Cultural Center and Vatt Khmer Lowell will be inspired by traditional Khmer architecture (based on famous architectural icons such as Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Banteay Srei, Baphuon, Bayon, Beng Mealea, Preah Vihear, Preah Khan, Ta Prom, Vimean Akas, etc.) combined with modern American building designs which are suitable for the New England environment.
